I never knew wikis could be so much fun! I am astounded with how easy it is to create and edit a wiki. I feel that this is something I really can use in my class.

This week I used animoto for the first time. It was really fun and easy. I made a video showing the levels of organization in living things from subatomic particles to the organism level. I will use it as a review for my students. Here is a link to it.

Social networking sounded really scary to me. I keep hearing about the dangers
involved and how careful you have to be about your personal information. I never
knew how easy it is to set up a private social network. It can even be free! I
love edmodo. It is so easy to use. I want to set one up for each of my classes
and use it to communicate out of school. Maybe also for homework. I think I
should start with just one class though. We will see how it goes!

Actually, I never did understand the greatness of Google docs until I read this weeks chapter. Now I can't wait to try it out. I save all my documents that I need for class on my little flash drive and every night my nightmares are that I will leave it at home and not be prepared for class. With Google docs I can access my documents from anywhere. I never have to be worried that I won't have the quiz that I spent an hour writing ready for class. Additionally, the collaborative aspects…
