Our first iTextbook based on the sugyah of Ben Sorer U'Moreh is ready for beta-testing. The iTextbook includes multimedia,an interactive gemarah tutor and interactive assignments and excercises. Over 17 mechanchim have shown interest in submitting sugyot to be produced into iPad textbooks. Some of them have submitted multiple ideas. Two of these sugyot are already in production and some of the others are being reviewed by our curriculum committee. I encourage everyone who wants to contribute to this project to visit our website at www.hdstip.org to become part of this exciting project. Oh!, did I mention that we pay $400 per sugyah !?
Mazal Tov to Rabbi Effie Kleinberg of Ramaz for being the first to submit and receive approval for his contribution of the sugyah of Ben Sorer UMoreh to be converted into an interactive iPad iTextbook. The sugyah is currently in production and should be ready for the coming school year. Rabbi Kleinberg's check of $400 is in the mail to him.

Through a major grant from the Jewish Education Innovation Challenge, Hillel Day School of Boca Raton is looking for content contributors to take part in the production of a digital library of 40 Gemarah and Chumash iPad itextbooks over the next two years.
