Great Time Keeper site

This is a fun site that can display either a timer counting down or a stopwatch counting up.  There are many clever clocks on this website to monitor time, for example the time-bomb clock which shows a small explosion when the time is up.  This is great for group time-keeping, encouraging a student to estimate how long a task will take and seeing how long it actually does or keeping track of time in a timed task.http://www.online-stopwatch.com/See More

Using Wordle or Tagxedo in the classroom

Wordle and Tagxedo are great websites to use in the classroom as they engage the learner in a fun and informative way. Each of these websites creates a "wordle" or word cloud where the size of the words inputed reflect the number of times the word was entered.
