I completed an EdTech assignment on Podcasts. It was a lesson an introduction to a lesson of Venahfocu on Purim. I used Voicethread & found it very easy to navigate. If I encountered a problem it was quickly resolved by pressing on the "help" button. The podcasts are useful in that instead of just receiving written work for review or as a lesson, the student has a recording of the teacher's voice, sometimes accompanied by handouts or diagrams, which usually makes it easier to understand. I think podcasts could facilitate a lesson or be used as a review before an assessment, or even to be accessed at home by a student who missed a class. I am looking forward to integrating more of them into my class. Next step...creating a vodcast!
