Web 2.0 for Jewish Education (slide share)

The vast amount of free to low-cost tools for education online is outstanding. At this point the issue is not whether the tool exists, but choosing from the many types and variations of tools that works for you. And while the majority of these tools are not specifically for Judaics, they certainly can be integrated easily. However, specific Judaic Web 2.0 tools and online resources will always be more useful in a Judaic class than a non-specific tool that is manipulated. There are some out there and more pop up every once in a while, but more are needed.

Recently, I gave a session on Web 2.0 tools and resources for Judaics at the BJENY conference in November. I wanted to share with you the slides I used. I began with an overview of the importance of Web 2.0 and then jumped into Judaic online resources. Feel free to download the slides and use them as you wish.
