Hi, Eliezer! Great to hear from you! There are a number of places of Jewish interest in Second Life. Assuming they are still there... there is a shul or two, a chabad mobile, a Beit Midrash, at least one Kotel, Israeli cities like Jerusalem, Tel Aviv promenade, Eilat aquarium, Zeide Kamp (a recreation of a shtetl with self-guided tour), the US Holocaust Museum's exhibit on Kristallnacht, and a number of Jewish activities and groups. You can find a collection of some of my SL resources here. I started a group for Jewish educators, btw - it's called "Chai Life" feel free to join the group and let me know if you are interested in meeting up sometime inworld!

FYI, I also have an article about SL and Jewish education from 2007 here.

Thanks, Eliezer. Sure, go for it - some of the links may need a little updating/refreshing but go for it :)

I'd be interested to hear about other people's experiences, btw. Oh, and there is a new virtual world rolling out specifically for educators - take a look here for more info: Pitriworld. I know many of the people involved and I'm happy to make introductions (or use my name).

Shabbat shalom, chag sameach,

Caren
